Yes! Unlike Jira’s native charts, the Sprint Burndown Burnup Chart, Release Burndown Burnup Chart and Team Velocity Chart allow you to include subtasks to get a more accurate view of your team’s true progress.

Can I track release progress?

Yes. The Release Burndown Burnup Chart lets you visualize the progress of the entire release. It can also generate and display a forecast, and estimate the final release date, based on the overall team velocity.

Can I track multiple projects or teams in a single chart?

Yes. With the Release Burndown Burnup Chart you can generate a cross-project or cross-team release burndown/burnup in a few steps. The Kanban Velocity Chart also lets you track the velocity across multiple teams.

What estimation methods Great Gadgets supports?

Most charts allow you to choose between multiple estimation methods such as story points, issue count, time estimate or any other numerical custom field.

Can I display data from past sprints?

Yes. Gadgets like the Sprint Burndown Burnup Chart and Team Velocity Chart can show any past sprints.

Can I visualize the WIP breaches in charts?

Yes. The WIP Run Chart gadget allows you to set a maximum and minimum WIP limit for your items. It then highlights in red all the items that are above or below the set limits, and displays at the top of the chart the number of the WIP Breaches. The Team Wallboard and WIP Aging Chart gadgets can also consider the WIP limits of the agile boards and highlight the WIP breaches.

Can I measure cycle time or lead time?

Yes. The Cycle Time Trend Chart, Control Chart, or Histogram Chart gadgets are highly configurable and can be set to measure either cycle time or lead time or any other similar metrics like MTTR, ATR, AHT or TTR.

Can I track SLA Breaches?

Yes. With gadgets like Control Chart, Histogram Chart and WIP Aging Chart you can visualize the breaches by setting custom thresholds that will highlight the items that breached them. With the Issue Filter Formula, Advanced Issue Filter Formula and Pivot Table & Pivot Chart you can visualize custom metrics about your SLA Breaches such as percent of total items or create multidimensional stats and charts and visualize breaches by assignee or projects.

Can I track the progress at the Epic level?

Yes! With Great Gadgets you can effectively track the progress at the Epic level, as well as the progress at Initiative, Theme or Feature level. Using gadgets like the Release Burndown Burnup Chart you can display epic burndown charts to track the progress of epics along the time.

With the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget you can create real-time multidimensional stats and charts to monitor the progress of epics, initiative, theme or feature and analyze them by multiple dimensions such as assignee, status category, or project.

Can I export data from the charts?

Yes, most gadgets have a Data Table that can be exported to a CSV format for reporting and sharing outside Jira.

Can I use a JQL query instead of a board or filter?

Yes. Almost all gadgets accept custom JQL queries for full flexibility in how data is retrieved. You can use Jira boards, saved filters and custom JQL queries as data sources for your gadgets.

Can I customize the chart colors?

Yes. The gadgets have a Color tab that lets you customize the colors as you like.

Can I display Great Gadgets charts in Confluence?

If you use Jira Cloud, must have Great Gadgets for Confluence app installed to add gadgets into Confluence pages.

If you use Jira Data Center, you can import the gadgets from Jira without the need of having Great Gadgets for Confluence installed.

Can I share dashboards that contain Great Gadgets charts?

Yes, as long as the person you are sharing the dashboard with has access to the projects and filters that contains the work items displayed by the gadgets.
